From the management

Two weeks ago, the Dean of the Science Faculty gave all departments an assignment to investigate how we can strengthen coordination within and between the departments as well as between the departments and the Faculty. This assignment has been initiated by the transversal RQ20 panel reports and their recommendations to our Faculty regarding organization, infrastructure and recruitment. CEC’s assignment is to investigate, together with the Departments of Geology and Natural geography and Ecosystem Science, how cooperation and coordination between the organizations can be strengthened when it comes to research, education, administration, economy and recruitment. We should also consider our opportunities and challenges that will follow a future establishment of some of the Faculty´s departments at Brunnshög. The Dean has asked us to present our ideas in connection with the management council the 21 of June. We are currently developing a plan for how we will work with this. The starting point of the work is to analyze how we can further develop cooperation and synergies with our partner organizations to fulfill the mission and vision of our expanding activities as expressed in the plan of operations 2021.

Due to corona, there are no IRL first aid courses now, but in the meantime, here is a link to a digital first aid course. Unfortunately, it is only in Swedish and it cannot be substituted for a IRL course, but it might be of some value and could serve as a brush-up for those who once took a course.
