ClimBEco annual meetings

Annual ❄ Winter Meeting, 2025

15-16 January, 2025

Grand Hotel Lund

This is a one and a half day event. On the first day, participants will present their research to each other with focus on interdisciplinary communication training. Day one starts at 10am to allow for same-day travel.

On the second day in the morning, we will have a workshop within the topic of Master Suppression Tequniques, Gender and Diversity with the licensed psychologist and coach Katarina Billing. The title of the workshop is "Why and how do we ask questions?"

Questions are the most powerful tools we have to orient ourselves in life in general and they play an important role in academia. 
They are also a powerful way to show our identity and agenda, from where we come and what we’d like to achieve. They can hence both stem from a place of true curiosity and a will to explore but also from a place to dominate and control. They can be used to push for change or to keep the status quo.

Annual 🍁 Autumn Meeting, 2025

15-18 September, 2025 (subject to change)

Networking and learning at the University of Hamburg, Center for Earth System Research and Sustainability (CEN), Cluster of Excellence Climate, Climatic Change and Society (CLICCS).

For the first time ever, ClimBEco hosts is annual meeting internationally. Together with our partner research school SICSS (School of Integrated Climate and Earth System Sciences) we will have a program of learning and exchange on the campus of the University of Hamburg.
