ClimBEco annual meetings
The annual summer and winter meetings are highlights in our interdisciplinary agenda. We gather twice a year to network, listen to inspiring guests, and engage in discussions and workshops.
Welcome to the ClimBEco 2022 summer meeting entitled
The Sands Of/Over Time:
Sustainable coastal environments in light of climate change
Dates: 21 September (afternoon) until 23 September (afternoon)
Place: Marint centrum, Simrishamn
The purpose of this thematic meeting is to gain a deeper understanding of dynamic coastal environments and the interactions that define them. We will focus specifically on interactions between land, atmosphere and sea – both geologically back and forecasted forward into climate change futures – and interactions between people and communities living on and from a marine coastal ecosystem, where climate change will continue to have profound impacts.
