HEU proposals - Checklists
Approval for HEU proposals by the CEC Director is administrated by the CEC Research coordinator.
HEU Checklists
All EU proposals must be approved by the CEC Director beforehand, 3 months in advance is advisable, as soon as possible otherwise. Please let the CEC research coordinator know as soon as possible that you are preparing a HEU proposal – send a quick e-mail straight away, and then follow up with a checklist if you don´t have all information at hand.
There are different checklists if you are coordinating a consortium or leading the ULUND partner in a consortium that is coordinated somewhere else. Please choose the applicable checklist, copy-paste it into a word document and send it to the CEC Research coordinator along with your comments next to each bullet point.

The cost to use the lab is included in the CEC overhead cost (as of January 1, 2021), no extra budget calculation is needed. However – you must contact the person in charge of the lab at Biology and check that you can use the lab. This must be done before you send in your application to the funder. If you get funded (congratulations!), an agreement between CEC and Biology has to be signed so that we can keep track of how many researchers are using the lab. Contact the CEC Research Coordinator to get support with this.
To get an approval
Contact the person in charge of the lab as soon as you know you will want to use the lab. Include the information in the list above sent to the CEC research coordinator.
