External funding in the form of donations and philanthropy is playing an increasingly important role for universities in Sweden. Annually, Lund University receives significant government funding; however, this cannot cover all the research and education. There is a constant need to seek funding for specific projects and donations are very helpful in this respect.

Donations from foundations, companies, not-for-profit organisations and private individuals lead to investments that can develop our activities and, in the long term, make a true difference in society.
