I am the coordinator of the graduate research school ClimBEco, a supportive platform for PhD students to meet and network with each other over disciplinary boundaries as well as to learn about the complex research topics of climate, biodiversity and ecosystem services from multiple perspectives.
I have a PhD in Sustainability Science from the Centre for Sustainability Studies at Lund University on the topic of smallholder food security, power, and discourses of development.
My research history also includes work on:
- The communication of science to policy-makers and practitioners
- Air quality in fast-growth cities in Africa
- The protein shifts needed for healthy, sustainable living
Besides my academic activities, I am an instructor at the training facility Gerdahallen in yoga, a coach for young children in volleyball, and active in my local tenants association. My family and I live in Lund.
