Natural Nations

Natural Nations is an Erasmus-funded project aimed at helping teachers and students understand the importance of small creatures, pollinating insects, and birds in the food web by developing guidance and protocols for surveys in the schoolyard.

The school surveys are also collected in a citizen science project. Additionally, practical advice is provided on how to improve the schoolyard for biodiversity. The project is led by the British organization Learning through Landscapes (LtL), and other collaborating partners include Naturskolan in Lund, Birdlife Malta, and Sociedad Española de Ornitologia SEO (Birdlife Spain). The project is ongoing from 2019 to 2022.
