From the management
The management group kicked off the semester by starting the discussion about a 10 year CEC strategy. The discussion will continue in the Board, the Collegium and at Staff meetings this spring (date to be announced).
Marianne Hall is now on parental leave, and Cerina Wittbom will help you out on matters regarding research applications and CEC Fellows. You will find Cerina in Marianne’s former office.
We warmly welcome the following new persons to CEC: On February 18th Stina Johannesson starts as a communicator at CEC, focusing on the communication of the education and research schools. On March 1st Ylva van Meeningen arrives. Ylva will give administrative support to the research schools ClimBEco, Bioeconomy and Agenda 2030.
And we are happy to announce that the following persons will stay at CEC for some more time: Georg Andersson is working as a project assistant with Yann Clough in the project Farm2Forest, and Ludwig Bengtsson Sonesson is working as a communicator in the Sustainability Forum.

CECs Friday breakfast fika is served from 9:30 to 10:15 in the CEC lunch room and most Fridays a presentation starts at 10:15.
On March 8 there is an LU seminar “#Metoo – och nu då?” (what happens after #meetoo). The seminar is in Swedish at the SOL centre between 10 and 16. Read more here
Sustainability Forum is hosting a series of talks this spring at Stadsbiblioteket. There will be talks on climate psychology, self-driving cars, train-vacations, dogmatic growth and climate fiction! See the whole program here or on the board in the CEC lunchroom.

Lund University's annual Sustainability Week is soon upon us, information is available both on the web and on Facebook. This year’s theme is Transforming our World, focusing on the global goals and in specific Cities, Food, Stories and Work/Life. Get in touch with Ludwig Bengtsson Sonesson or Jenny Hansson if you want to participate.
In anticipation of Sustainability Week, we are looking for exceptional examples of science communication of sustainability topics. The best will be exhibited at Eden throughout the week. If you want to submit your own or a colleague’s work please contact Ludwig Bengtsson Sonesson.
