Registration to PhD side event at the Swedish Climate Symposium in Norrköping, May 2022
Open to current PhD students of the Bolin CRS and ClimBEco graduate reseach school
The coordinators of Bolin CRS and ClimBEco coordially invite PhD students of their respective research schools to an exclusive side event of the Swedish Climate Symposium on 16-18 May, 2022
On the final day of the Swedish Climate Symposium, the ClimBEco graduate research school (Climate, Biodiversity and Ecosystem services in a changing world, Lund University) and the Bolin Climate Research School (Stockholm University) will host a side event that includes a paper session and a social activity exclusively for our respective PhD students. We believe that this is a great opportunity for PhD students to interact around issues related to climate change while expanding their networks with other early-career researchers.
The schedule for the PhD side event is the following (OBS new date!):
Wednesday, 18 May 2022
08:30-10:15 PhD scientific presentation and discussion session
10:30-11:00 Travel from symposium venue
11:00-13:30 Lunch, climbing, networking and playing in the trees at the beautiful Sörsjön Adventure park
13:45-14:15 Travel back to symposium venue
The scientific presentation and discussion session will consist of short presentations from each speaker (5 min) followed by a discussion (10 min). If selected for an oral presentation, you will be given a timeslot to present your work. Each presenter acts also as a discussant.
We are looking forward to meeting you and for your exiting contributions!
Best regards,
The ClimBEco and Bolin CRS team
