LU Land Breakfast seminar #5
When society needs private land - on how to balance different interests
When it comes to land exploation, decisions often are conflict-ridden, and social goals are often set against private interests. Planning and expansion of infrastructure is an area with a great need to balance different interests: Benefits for travelers, the transport sector or the climate are often set against reduced food production and loss of natural values. At today's webinar, we discuss how socio-economic analysis can help deal with these difficult trade-offs, and which opportunities and tools are available in practice.
