CEC Fellows seminar on governance
An important barrier to interdisciplinary work is the difficulty to communicate over disciplinary boundaries. The seminar series on concepts, of which the seminar on governance is the first, is intended to create a platform for the discussions needed to overcome such barriers.
What are the political scientists talking about? Governance as research concept
Register here before February 8.
About
Åsa Knaggård and colleagues from the Department of Political Science are straightening out the concept of Governance as a research perspective for us.
The seminar on governance will give a background to this often fuzzy yet important concept and present different ways in which it is understood. Three short presentations of research projects, taking governance as point of departure, will illustrate how the concept can be used. There will be ample room for questions and discussion, hopefully generating new and interesting research ideas.

About the seminars
CEC Fellows invites members to four seminars on different concepts during 2019. The invited presenting researchers bring out a basic concept, central for their research, which can be difficult to grasp for researchers in other disciplines. The purpose with the seminars is to meet new people, learn new things and to create an understanding of how to make interesting interdisciplinary research projects that are of interest to everyone involved.
If you have suggestions for concepts to discuss, please let us know!
