Playgrounds in Lomma are leaking microplastics

Drain cover in the ground. Photo.

It has previously been unsure whether microplastics from playgrounds spread to fresh water and aquatic environments. Rubber-based surfaces with the purpose to protect our children also threaten wildlife, both at sea and on land.
