Lund University has a unique disciplinary range within both research and education. In order to meet the major complex challenges facing society, multidisciplinary co-operation and approaches are often required. The eight faculties at Lund University make it possible to respond in a coherent and creative way to the challenges of society and the global mission of Agenda 2030. Agenda 2030 also holds opportunities for further development of research, methods and education based on a long tradition of interdisciplinary cooperation within the university.
