KSLA-Wallenberg Professorship at the CEC

Professor Tobias Kuemmerle, from the Humboldt University in Berlin, will be the holder of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, KSLA-Wallenberg Professorship 2018. The Centre of Environmental and Climate research will be professor Kuemmerles host institute during his stay in Sweden.

– We are happy to welcome professor Kuemmerle to the CEC and are convinced that he will positively contribute our research community, says Henrik Smith, director at the CEC.

Professor Kuemmerle studies land use change and the influence socioeconomic and political changes has on farmland abandonment.
