In conjunction with the IPCC authors’ meeting in Malmö in October Sustainability Forum and Climate-KIC, both operating from the CEC, are co-organizers of three arrangements concerning climate change, climate policy and innovation as a solution.

Climate change – from knowledge to politics

Monday, October 23 at 11, at Malmö Live, researchers from Lund University and Malmö University will discuss with Sweden's Minister for International Development Cooperation and Climate, Isabella Lövin, about what we need to do to achieve the 1.5-degree goal.

Health, food and water – The need for innovations and new strategies in a changing climate

On Tuesday, October 24 at 19, at the Malmö Exhibition in Hyllie, a seminar will be held on health, food and water with researchers from Lund University, Sahlgrenska Academy and some of the international researchers participating in the authors’ meeting.

Climathon about solar energy

On Friday, October 27 at 10.30, a 24-hour climate change hackathon will be held at the same time in over 230 cities around the world. In Lund, Climathon focuses on solar energy and is arranged at the Waterfall Science Center.
