Planning a Post-doc
The seminar "Planning a Post-doc" was held on 20 January 2015. You can find the programme and presentations from the seminar here. The seminar was arranged by Carin Nilsson, CEC together with ClimBEco Graduate Research School and Forskningsservice, LU.
This seminar was held on 20 January with focus on how and where to apply for funding to go on a post-doc. Due to the great interest the seminar was fully booked.
About the seminar
We specifically welcomed Phd-students who were in the end of their time, but also encouraged those Phd-students in their early stages to come, and start the process of the next step. Young researchers and supervisors were also very welcome of course!
This invitation has been circulated to the ClimBEco-school, to the networks within the strategic research areas BECC and MERGE, to the N- and S- faculties at LU and to LDK. We also welcomed people from other universities than Lund University! In total the seminar gathered people from Lund University: Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculties of Humanities and Theology, LTH, Faculty of Medicine, School of Economics, Faculty of Law.

10.40 Moderated Panel: Maj Rundlöf (PhD in Biology)– just received funding from VR to work abroad. Edith Hammer – (PhD in Biology) has recently come back from 2 post-docs, financed by FORMAS and Marie Curie. Per Persson (Professor in Molecular Geochemistry at CEC) – is part of the group evaluating post-doc applications for VR.
