Research Stay Grants
Boost your project by a research stay abroad! It is a chance for you to work together with colleagues at foreign institutes and laboratories and enhance your networks.
Who can apply for research stay grants?
If you are accepted to ClimBEco graduate research school, you can apply for grants to cover short research stays (travel and accommodation) at a host institute or laboratory.To be eligible to receive a research stay grant, you must participate in all mandatory activities within the research school. If you do not meet this criterion, your application will be declined.
How much can I apply for?
As a guideline, a maximum of 25 000 SEK will be granted for a one-month stay, including the cost for the return travel. Longer stays (> 1 month) and foreign hosts are prioritized.
What can I apply for?
The grant is intended to support collaborative research. Applications to cover costs for e.g. course participation or conferences are not eligible.
How do I apply?
The application must be submitted within the program. Send the application at least one month before, and no earlier than six months before, the planned departure date by e-mail to the ClimBEco vice coordinator johannes [dot] rousk [at] biol [dot] lu [dot] se (Johannes Rousk) with the subject line “ClimBEco Research Stay Grant Application”:
We require that you enclose an invitation from the host institute to the application.
